This practical introduction to powerboating will provide you with the basic skills necessary to operate a powerboat safely and confidently in sheltered waters. A 1 day course providing a practical introduction to boat handling and safety in powerboats. It covers boating techniques, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment.
It is a great introduction to Powerboating to learn the basics before Powerboat Level 2 which we offer from Explorer age upwards.
On successful completion of the course you will be issued with your Powerboat Level 1 certificate and Scouts will also be elegible for their Power Coxswain badge.
Anyone under the age of 18 years must have a Parental Consent Form completed and signed by a parent/guardian - this must be handed in to the organisers on arrival during registration, without this form participants will not be permitted to take part.
